Churches' Media Council

The BBC worked closely with the Churches' Media Council which welcomed the production as a "golden opportunity to contribute to a contemporary public discussion about Jesus".

Guidance about the production is on the Churches' Media Council website. You can also listen to an interview with Nigel Stafford-Clark who produced the series.

Catholic Church in England and Wales

The BBC's The Passion "provides the Catholic Community with a significant evangelisation opportunity", says the director of the Catholic Church's national evangelisation agency.
