30 October - 8 November 2013, Busan, Republic of Korea  

Meeting every seven years, the Assembly of the World Council of Churches (WCC) link to external website has the mandate to set the future agenda of the council, to elect officials and to speak with a public voice on behalf of the churches.  

It is the most diverse Christian gathering of its size in the world attended by WCC member churches, partner organisations and other churches.

Pre-conference resources

WCC 10th assembly resourceResources were created to help member churches and partners prepare for the WCC 10th Assembly. They include a six-unit resource Pilgrimage to Busan: A Journey into Ecumenical Christianity which encourages churches to explore the themes of Christian unity, justice and peace. It is designed for use by study groups and for use on day-long retreats. Reflections are also available. More link to external website
