china forum

The China Forum is a space for highly informed debate on church policies in regard to China.

It provides a channel of communication between the China work and its British and Irish stakeholders. This leads to joint action and project collaboration that provides effective partnership with the churches in China and Christian-initiated organisations working on social development issues.

The Forum actively promotes and facilitates ecumenical collaboration among churches and Christian agencies with the churches in China, both Protestant and Catholic. Together we hope to establish best practice in all our joint projects.

The Forum is made up of representatives from churches and agencies which belong to Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) and/or the Churches Network for Mission (CNM) which support work in China. Associated organisations who wish to take part in coordinated work in China may also apply to join. Some individuals whose expertise and services constitute a resource for the Forum may be co-opted.
